On this page you will find some books written by Luis Costa Bonino.  The “Handbook of Political Marketing” and the “Crisis of the Uruguayan Political System” can be dipped into or downloaded in their entirety from this site, free of charge. A brief commentary on each is included and there are links providing additional information on the way they are being used academically in different universities around the world.

 

It should be borne in mind that Dr. Costa Bonino, apart from being a leading political consultant in Latin America and Europe, is a specialist in Comparative Politics with an international academic career.





Crisis of the Uruguayan Political System. Political Parties and Democracy up to 1973. FCU.1995.

This book analyzes the circumstances surrounding the formation of the Uruguayan political system and the cracks in its stability. The second part analyzes chronologically the political crises that led to the 1973 coup d’état.
