Interactive Book...

On this page we plan to build up, little by little, as a joint effort, a Political Marketing book which we would like to be the best and most complete of all.

This book should have a good balance between a valid, proven theory on the best paths for the construction of successful election strategies, and a practical and close calling to the most down-to-earth, election tasks. It involves, above all, including the direct testimony of many people who work or participate actively in this area. We intend to make a book that takes into account all the cultural variety we come across in our work as international political consultants.

Who better to observe each element of local reality, of regional color, than those who take part in, and show an interest in, this fascinating subject in every corner of Latin America, Spain and other European countries, with a Latin tradition, very close to our own?

The proposition is this: we will add, from time to time, new pages to this book, which will be put together and written by me, but which will leave its door open for the collaboration of all.

So that everyone can participate, we will number the paragraphs as we are writing them. With regard to the different subjects to be dealt with and using the numbering as a guide, we will incorporate specific observations, comments and above all concrete examples on how a certain topic or campaign tool works, rightly or wrongly, within a certain cultural context. All anecdotes containing local color in which powerful truths and teachings are shown are particularly welcome, especially those using humor.

All relevant contributions will be included in the text. Some (the best) will be incorporated as quotations or examples in the development of the argument. Others will be footnotes. Others will go into the appendix. There will be a list of all the book’s co-authors. When it is complete, we will open a tender to get it printed. Meanwhile, we will be sure to have access to the latest Political Marketing book of all.

All ideas concerning the production of the book are welcome. Not just text and comments, but also suggestions for a title, ideas for the cover design, and relevant queries that, in a way, will reflect questions many people will be asking.
